The 2008 EFS Logan Challenge

Now, if you're not familiar with the Logan
Challenge, it is a survival-based 4WD event. Kind of like the Outback Challenge
(but on a much smaller scale of course). However, it is different in that it is
not an individual effort. Like last year, each team comprises 3-cars and a
manager. The Challenge is accepting 12 teams (36 competing cars), and the
competition will run over the Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. The event
will have everything included, from winching, hard drives, GPS runs, mechanical
stages, first-aid , to basically anything 4WD related.
This year's event is looking bigger than ever
with all of the action being captured and filmed by 4WD TV, so we hope that you
can get a team together and join us for a great weekend of action and
excitement. Simon of 4WDTV is competing...which I'm sure will make for
interesting watching!
The Park will be open for wheeling with the
exception of the competition areas and tracks. We will also be making some
changes with the camping this year. We have cleared a large area very near
to the central campsite. This means you'll be even nearer the action!
Also there will be an entrance and exit road for access to the camping areas.
No more queues! So get yourselves organised and come and watch the action
and spills!
Competition and Park Fees
The following are the Park prices applicable
to this weekend only:
Marshall: Free
Competitor: $10.00 per
person for the competition, (Fri - Sunday).
Competitor or Marshall plus immediate family:
$20 per vehicle per night.
Spectator: $30 per
vehicle per night (includes 4x4, camping and entry)
Day Spectator: $15 per
vehicle per day (includes 4x4 and entry)
2wd vehicles: Standard park camping fees
apply.
Meals
Breakfast will be available Saturday and
Sunday mornings
Price: $6.50 (Eggs,
Bacon, Tomato unlimited toast, coffee, tea)
Saturday Evening roast: $14.00 per adult and
$8 per child under 12.
(Meat roast, various veggies, roasted potatoes, gravy, dessert & unlimited tea,
coffee and cordial). Numbers will be
limited so please book early in advance.
Daily hot food specials will be available at
the coffee shop, including Friday evening.
Hot & Cold drinks, Burgers, Sausage sizzle and
more tasty nibbles will be available at the campsite over the duration of the
Competition.
